Your despatch of 12th December No. 405 Aerial survey of Hong Kong. One copy of each of Sheets No. 6 and No. 9 of 20,000 map have been received. The use of term leased territory in title and in two places in the footnote is

highly undesirable. The correct term isMew territory

of the Colony of Hong Kong. I consider it very necessary

to make these corrections and request that similar corrections be made in title of map of Hong Kong published in

Colonial Office List where also term leased territory appears
